Grad Zero, in 2024, will celebrate thirty years. Born 1994 as an cultural association, was founded by Rosalba Mazzotta and Paolo De Falco .
For many years its base was in Lecce, with a centre dedicated to the teaching of classical, modern and contemporary dance, which shaped many young people, some of which have become professional dancers, teachers and choreographers. Grad Zero also had others bases, in Maglie and Rome.
During time it has developed many multidisciplinary projects not only for theatre and dance, but also for cinema and music, in various places in Italy and abroad. This nomadism geographic and disciplinary has been the soul of its activity and research. .
Today, in 2023, a new Grad Zero is born .
Paolo De Falco is the connection between the past and the present.
With the support of the Gal della Valle della Cupa a new project is born, on the basis of experience and the long and intense activity, wants to try to develop a creative and cultural research more rooted than recent years and more incisive and open to business.
The land, the countryside, the trees will help this project, will lunch it with their antique force towards the future...
